Cybersecurity Online Master’s: NYU Cyber Fellows

NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s pioneering Cyber Fellows program opens the semester with a mission: Help fill the increasing talent gap in the cybersecurity field. The NYU Cyber Fellows program offers scholarships that result in one of the lowest-cost online master’s degrees in the country and develops highly skilled technical graduates ready to step into the growing cybersecurity gap while collaborating with influential employers to ensure students get the precise cybersecurity education they need.

NYU Tandon enrolled 160 new Cyber Fellows for the fall semester for its graduate-level online cybersecurity program, and it expects to significantly increase enrollment in future years as it responds to the 200,000 unfilled jobs nationwide.

Sysdig Company Overview: Reliable and Secure Cloud-Native Applications

Introduction to Sysdig, the cloud-native visibility and security company that was started in 2013 with the mission to enable enterprises to operate reliable and secure cloud-native applications. Sysdig the company has gone on to create both open source and commercial monitoring, security, and forensics tools.

Cloud native architectures benefit the business and empower developers, but there are hurdles to get over in the cloud, exacerbated by existing security, monitoring, and APM tools that lack the in-depth visibility and rich context needed to be relevant in cloud native environments.
